What to expect
Lia will take a detailed history of your neuropathy — onset, location, character of symptoms, and any contributing factors such as diabetes, chemotherapy, or autoimmune conditions. Treatment combines local needling in the affected areas with systemic points to support circulation and nervous system regulation. Common questions
Can acupuncture reverse nerve damage?
Acupuncture can support nerve regeneration and significantly reduce symptoms, but results depend on the type and severity of neuropathy. Early intervention generally produces better outcomes.
How many treatments will I need?
Neuropathy typically requires a longer course of treatment — often 10–15 sessions — to see meaningful improvement. Lia will reassess regularly and adjust the plan as you progress.
I have diabetes. Is this safe for me?
Yes. Lia is experienced working with diabetic patients and takes appropriate precautions with needle placement and wound care.
